SS14 Pastel Wishlist

1. River Island- Tote bag
I am a huge fan River Island bags and this beauty is no exception!  I love the sophisticated look about this bag. If I could justify the fact that I need more bags in my life then I would definitely be investing in this baby!

2. Asos- Pink heeled sandals
I feel the need to change my shoe collection a bit now. A few years ago I was going on nights out a lot so my wardrobe consists mainly of heels or flip flops! I really like the sandals that are around at the moment and this cute pair from Asos are right up my street! I have nothing like them either, so these need no further justification really!

3. Topshop- Gingham bralet This cute gingham crop is perfect for Spring and Summer. I'm a sucker for crop tops! I love the frills and bow on this it makes it a really cute piece I think!

4. Missguided- Jumpsuit with lace detail
This gorgeous Jumpsuit is a lovely colour and has a lace panel along the side. It's from Missguided which I love looking at but every time I order something from there I nearly always send it back because of the fit! (Sometimes I hate being so small)! This looks beautiful in the picture though!

5. Boots- Models Own speckled egg nail polish
I love painting my nails and buying new colours so I think I'm definitely going to have to get my hands on the new models own speckled egg collection. Perfect for Easter and the colours are so pretty!!

6. Shelly's London (Asos)- Mint Boots
I'm loving chunky boots at the moment and these caught my eye due to their lovely mint colour! I think they're subtle yet stylish and fit right in with the pastel trend for Spring.

7. Topshop- Yellow Satchel
Now I couldn't finish off the wish list without the beautiful Topshop satchel. I popped in to Topshop the other day and saw these all lined up in an array of beautiful spring colours! I might just have to make this a new edition to my bag collection!

Topshop

As you all know, or should, I LOVE Topshop. Don't get me wrong I like to venture in to different shops too as I enjoy a bit of variety in life. It doesn't help living on an island where you only have a choice of H&M, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Jane Norman, TKMaxx, Peacocks and Internationale. I'm not even joking this is basically what our main town consists off. So its little wonder that I continuously revert back to my old favourite Topshop!!

So I have recently stated on a saving mission. I'm 23 and seen as though I have been careless with my money for all these years I thought now would be a good time to start thinking about my future! I have to say I'm very proud of myself this month, I gave myself an allowance and I actually stuck to it! As well as putting some money in my savings account, which I have not touched. So overall I'm pretty chuffed with my good start! The other day I had to go in to town to buy a birthday present for my boyfriends nephew, everything was going fine until I stepped out of the toy shop and straight across the road was Topshop staring me in the face. So being naturally drawn to it I popped over for a quick peek inside as it felt like it had been way too long!! I was very proud of myself as I came out with absolutely nothing (YAY) although that doesn't mean to say that I didn't want EVERYTHING (ARGHH) Luckily my boyfriend and I made a deal after I cut up all my store cards and he said if I make it to the end of the month without buying anything he would treat me to something in Topshop :) So far so good only 1 more week to go, so I'm hanging in there!!

February Wishlist

Even though I have put myself on a spending ban because I'm trying to be responsible and save money, I can't help but trawl through the internet and shops. Its like an addiction, I see things and I just HAVE to have them in my life! Here are a few beauties I've spotted recently which I would really love to add to my wardrobe!! I have never tried any of the Naked Palettes from Urban Decay, I love this new addition to their collection and it seems to be a reasonable price! I'm also currently loving the bowler hat fashion at the moment. I tried the Topshop one on but just couldn't justify the £25 price tag so was thrilled to find the cheap Ebay equivalents. I have wanted a Topshop Geek top for ages too but being so tiny the t-shirt just swamped me (I know its ment to be oversized but it was ridiculously oversized on me!!) I was so disappointed ... until they bought out these nifty little crop tops, still oversized in style but a much better fit for me than the t-shirt!

This weekend I am going shopping in Portsmouth which is a pretty big deal for someone stuck on a little island! My lovely boyfriend is taking me over and we are making it a pre valentines trip (because I'm away the weekend of Vday) including a meal out in Gunwharf Quays. So should be fun! Hopefully I will come back with some of these goodies but I am still trying to be good! I will not give in to temptation ...... too much! :)
