Spring Has Sprung

Asos Petite Structured Top- £28 - River Island Wet Look Leggings- £18 - Topshop Shoes (old) - Lipsy Rose Gold Watch

Hey guys!

Right firstly the photo's are not the best! I enlisted the help of my boyfriend and he did his best, bless him!

I love the fact that we are coming in to spring now. Yay for lighter evenings and sunnier days! So seen as though its spring I've decided I need to update my wardrobe!! I love the fact that pastels are coming back in! After scouring the internet I set my sights on a gorgeous two piece from Asos ! I've wanted a two piece for a while now but I just haven't seen the right one! Now your probably thinking why on earth is she going on about a two piece when in the photo's she clearly isn't wearing one!?! Well the top is actually part of a two piece set, however due to it still being windy and rainy I opted for a warmer disco pant option as opposed to the shorts that go with the top! Hopefully when it's nice day I can do the two piece outfit post! You can find it here! Both the top and shorts have mesh inserts near the edges, which add nice detail. The top is nicely structured giving it a good shape and it's a lovely pastel blue. I can't wait to wear this piece for spring and summer, I think it will look really pretty with a pair of flipflops or barely there sandals!!

Gingham // Monochrome

Topshop Gingham Treggings// Topshop-Fluffy Crop Jumper// River Island- Bowler Hat// Dorothy Perkins- Necklace// New Look- Ankle Boots

Hello you lovely people!

I've been wanting to do an outfit post for ages now but as I'm just getting back in to blogging for some reason I found it a bit daunting!

As you may already be aware I'm a lover of Topshop! It probably doesn't help that the shopping choices are very limited on the little old Isle of Wight, if I want variety I usually have to hope on a ferry and venture to West Quay or Gunwarf!

Anyway I've had these trousers/ leggings for a little while now but they are still available to buy in store and online! I love them, in fact I love this whole gingham/ tartan/ dogtooth trend that's happening at the moment! I feel it spices up my normal every day attire and its fashionable without trying too hard! I paired them up with my fluffy knit crop Topshop jumper *its so fluffy I wanna die* (despicable me voice) .... super cosy!
Along with another staple piece for anyone's wardrobe, the bowler hat! I got this one from River Island last year after lusting after them for ages and I'm so glad I did! They are so versatile and can make almost any outfit look that little bit more special.
This outfit goes well with a good statement necklace, I originally bought this in the Dorothy Perkins sale for a bargain price of £5!
Finally we have the classic ankle boots, very versatile! Now because of my teeny tiny size 3 feet these are in fact new looks generation range but there are many similar styles out there in a variety of shops at the moment and I'm sure new look have some great choice for adults too!

Bright lights, summer nights!

I popped in to Topshop the other day to return a top while I was waiting to meet friends for lunch. Now I was trying to be good and return a top that I actually rather like in order to save myself a bit of money however they only had a bloody sale on didn't they!! Damn you Topshop!! So I returned the Top and treated myself to a few treats, with the very good reason of 'I need new summer clothes'... yeah right!! I like to justify my uncontrollable habit if I can! So I bought a lovely dark purple vest with with a lace strip down the back this was on sale for £15... after this I didn't do so well as I purchased some full priced item, but I just couldn't help it! I bought some high waisted short shorts, a neon orange vest top and some panties (ooo la la) I also recently bought a lovely blue lace crop top which I wore out for my boyfriends birthday a few weeks ago!! I'm hoping to do some proper outfit posts on some of these items soon but for now here is a little posing snap I got of myself in the neon top and shorts! Sorry for the quality and the state of my boyfriends mirror!!

I love the fact the warmer weather seems to finally be appearing. Summer clothes are so much nicer than winter clothes I think and for once its nice to not have to wear a coat!! I just can't wait for beach days in the summer, I do actually need to invest in a new bikini.... honestly I really do... maybe!
Hope everyone has been enjoying and making the most of the sunshine!!

Asos Sale Treats!!

After a few months of saving and holding back from buying pretty clothes, I was browsing on the internet last night on various different sites and came across the Asos sale. Now I actually own nothing from Asos and very little from many other internet clothes sites. Its not that I don't like the clothes its just I usually order something and its ill fitting because I'm so small or not very well made. I guess I'm just one of those people who likes to try before I buy! It also doesn't help that I'm too lazy to send it back if I don't like it! Yesterday whilst browsing however I couldn't resist these lovely dresses and at bargain prices!! I'm looking forward to their arrival!! :)

Topshop

As you all know, or should, I LOVE Topshop. Don't get me wrong I like to venture in to different shops too as I enjoy a bit of variety in life. It doesn't help living on an island where you only have a choice of H&M, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Jane Norman, TKMaxx, Peacocks and Internationale. I'm not even joking this is basically what our main town consists off. So its little wonder that I continuously revert back to my old favourite Topshop!!

So I have recently stated on a saving mission. I'm 23 and seen as though I have been careless with my money for all these years I thought now would be a good time to start thinking about my future! I have to say I'm very proud of myself this month, I gave myself an allowance and I actually stuck to it! As well as putting some money in my savings account, which I have not touched. So overall I'm pretty chuffed with my good start! The other day I had to go in to town to buy a birthday present for my boyfriends nephew, everything was going fine until I stepped out of the toy shop and straight across the road was Topshop staring me in the face. So being naturally drawn to it I popped over for a quick peek inside as it felt like it had been way too long!! I was very proud of myself as I came out with absolutely nothing (YAY) although that doesn't mean to say that I didn't want EVERYTHING (ARGHH) Luckily my boyfriend and I made a deal after I cut up all my store cards and he said if I make it to the end of the month without buying anything he would treat me to something in Topshop :) So far so good only 1 more week to go, so I'm hanging in there!!

GEEK Chic!

Skater Skirt- Primark
Wedged Shoes- Matalan

I'm guessing all of you know by now about the Geek/Nerd/Dweeb Topshop t-shirt trend! Well when these first appeared in the shop I loved them, however being a stupidly small size the t-shirts swamped me due to their oversized styling! When I went shopping with my boyfriend a few weeks ago, I managed to get a nerd jumper in the Petit range (bonus). This was great although I still wanted that Geek t-shirt! Luckily for me Topshop bought out the prints on crop tops! Still in an oversized style but much better fitted to my tiny frame! So not only did I get the nerd jumper I also got the Geek crop top, smiles all round! I did also team this outfit with my Geek style glasses for the ultimate Geek look.... but I forgot to take a picture doh!! Sorry guys!! These Matalan wedges go perfectly with the colour of this Top too and if I want to get super coordinated I can team it with my Kate Moss 107 matter Lipstick!

So what do you think? Have any of you lot jumped on board with this trend?

February Wishlist

Even though I have put myself on a spending ban because I'm trying to be responsible and save money, I can't help but trawl through the internet and shops. Its like an addiction, I see things and I just HAVE to have them in my life! Here are a few beauties I've spotted recently which I would really love to add to my wardrobe!! I have never tried any of the Naked Palettes from Urban Decay, I love this new addition to their collection and it seems to be a reasonable price! I'm also currently loving the bowler hat fashion at the moment. I tried the Topshop one on but just couldn't justify the £25 price tag so was thrilled to find the cheap Ebay equivalents. I have wanted a Topshop Geek top for ages too but being so tiny the t-shirt just swamped me (I know its ment to be oversized but it was ridiculously oversized on me!!) I was so disappointed ... until they bought out these nifty little crop tops, still oversized in style but a much better fit for me than the t-shirt!

This weekend I am going shopping in Portsmouth which is a pretty big deal for someone stuck on a little island! My lovely boyfriend is taking me over and we are making it a pre valentines trip (because I'm away the weekend of Vday) including a meal out in Gunwharf Quays. So should be fun! Hopefully I will come back with some of these goodies but I am still trying to be good! I will not give in to temptation ...... too much! :)
