Topshop- Stepping in to spring

Jumper // Leggings
Yay it's been a sunny weekend once again!

So I fell in Topshop the other day and they had pretty clothes so I was clearly forced to buy them! These beautiful blue mini gingham print leggings are a great edition to my spring/summer wardrobe, they're so comfy too! I teamed it with this pastel yellow cropped jumper, keeping me nice and cosy still in the cold breeze. Then to finish it I chucked on my blue sandals. These babies were from Primark for only £10.. what a bargain!!

The Topshop sale is here now too, so there goes my chances of 'not shopping for a while' .... ha yeah like that was ever going to happen anyway right?!

P.S sorry about the smudge on the photo's I forgot to wipe the lens!!

I Love Wight

This is going to be a new feature on my blog guys and I really hope you like it!

Every Sunday my boyfriend and I have a whole day which we get to spend together doing whatever we like, this usually includes going on walks or finding a yummy cafe or restaurant to eat in! As we both work this is the one day we get to spend quality time together and go on our little adventures around the island!

I live on the Isle of Wight (I'm sorry if I keep reminding you of this)!! It's so beautiful and there are loads of quaint little places to visit and explore.

I thought I'd invite you along for the journey! 'I Love Wight' will be posted every Sunday and will be about anything that Max (the boyfriend) and I have got up to on our Sunday's together... I kind of like to think of it as 'Max and Tania's day of fun' If your a Friends fanatic like myself then you'll get that reference :)

So this weekend Max and I went for a drive. Max had to deliver some business cards as he is now self employed. Now I know your thinking, a drive?! Well that doesn't sound exciting but here it actually can be! We found a little byway (a little track that is off the main road that cars are still aloud to drive down) which we decided to go and explore. Not knowing where it is going to take you is one of the best parts! It was rather bumpy but we saw some great views along the way! We drove to Ryde and it was such a lovely clear day that you could see Portsmouth just across the water! There was also a kitesurfer out which is always fun to watch! We then had the yummiest Nachos in a pub/restaurant in Sandown! They are the best I think we've found! Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo but I'll remember next time we find something yummy!

So What do you guys think? I hope you'll enjoy it.

MAC ~ Lady Danger

Lipstick // Lip Pencil
Not this weekend just gone but the weekend before my friend and I took a trip to Southampton. As you may or may not know I live on the Isle of Wight, which is somewhat lacking in shops. So if you want a good old shopping spree Southampton or Portsmouth are the places to go!! We ventured to West Quay with a idea of what we sort of wanted to look for but of course that all goes out the window and you decide you need every single item you see!!

One thing that was on my list however was Mac. I've lusted after Mac products for a while (as well as other high end make up brands) but have never actually gave in and tried it. I've always been a high street girl but I have often longed for high end make up but I can't usually bring myself to part with my money (it's a different story when it  comes to clothes though).

So we headed for John Lewis and I approached one of the assistants at the Mac counter. I originally went looking for a lipstick and she asked me my shade preference to which I said I like orangey red colours. She came back with three different shades and I chose my favourite (lady danger). I applied it and it was wonderful. Even though it was a matte finish it glided across my lips so well, I even had a little dry bit on my lips which it didn't enhance it almost just covered it up! The colour was fantastic too the perfect colour for what I had describe it's not quite orange but it's not quite red it has a lovely balance of both tones! Everyone in the shop said how good it looked! I'm so impressed with the product and it lasts really well too. I've worn it a couple of times now & I only have to top it up after I've had something to eat or drink! The Mac lady also paired it up with a Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in the colour 'What a Blast' these shades work together perfectly. I must admit I never used to use a lip pencil but after seeing the difference it makes I'm definitely going to make more of an effort.

As it was my first trip in to Mac I didn't just stop at the Lipstick and pencil, the Mac lady used some foundation on my friend as that is what she was looking for, as well as some other products, which of course I couldn't pass up the chance to try out too!! So £100 later (I may have got a bit carried away) I came out of there with a whole new face! I may have lost all reasoning and self control but I just couldn't help it! I must admit it was probably down to the fact that she was a professional make up artist, I could never recreate the look she gave me at home but I fell for it anyway! I do love what I got though and for my first high end make up shop I'd say it was a success... my purse and bank may not agree though!!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water // Review

Garnier-Micellar-Cleansing-Water-400ml
Yes I'm afraid so, it's another post about how wonderful this new Garnier Micellar Water is! I'm sure you've seen lots of people raving about this product already but I couldn't help but join in!
I'm usually very lazy when it comes to having a skin care routine - quick and easy is what I like most! I know you should take really good care of your skin but I for one have been known to grab a face wipe or two for a quick fix (I can hear the shrieks as I type)!

However this has definitely changed things for me! A product I actually enjoy using, and to be honest it doesn't take any longer than it would with a face wipe. It makes my skin feel so soft and it's so gentle. I tend to suffer from dry spots around my eyes and lips and this doesn't sting or irritate when applied!

I feel it's given my skin a great result & I was chuffed when the lady at the MAC counter said I had great skin the other day (I know she probably compliments everyone but still).

The only thing I would say is I think 200 uses may be a little unrealistic, I use this everyday and although it's a big bottle it tends to go down quite quickly but I guess that is probably dependant upon personal use.

Plus it's a bargain at £4.99 so even if you're on the fence it's worth giving it a go at that price!

Neon & Nike

Topshop- orange crepe dress // House of Holland- knee high tights // Ebay- bad hair day beanie hat // Sports Direct- Nike blazers // Dorothy Perkins- Triangle necklace

Hey :)

So I know this season is all about pastels and I love the pastel trend BUT the sun is starting to shine and I'm feeling extra bright!! It's been dark and dull for wayyyy too long and I fancied brightening things up with a bit of neon orange! This crepe dress was bought from Topshop last year and I love it! It's been worn on a few nights out but I've never really made it a casual outfit! It has a dipped hem at the back making it shorter at the front and a small black zip at the top on the back. I have seen a few of these in different colours in the sales recently and I've been tempted to invest in other colour but I managed to resist!

I paired it with these knee high House of Holland tights. I purchased these after seeing them on the very gorgeous Copper Garden... I must say she pulls them off miles better than I do so head over and take a look! I do love the black and white contrast with the House of Holland writing on these and they stay up well as they have an elasticated band.

Finally my beautiful blazers! I've been lusting over a pair of these for ages, it's rather surprising because I'm not much of a trainer girl but I do love these!

Boot 3 for 2 Haul!

It has been a while since I ventured in to boots but I needed to pick up a few products I'd ran out of! However you know when you go in in and forget what you actually needed because your blinded by all the beautiful products?... yeah that happened! It was 3 for 2 so naturally I had to get about 20 items!!

I've been wanting a cleanser for a while and I've heard rave reviews about the new Garnier Miceller Water so I thought I'd give that a go. I've used it a few times and I'm already in love! I'm the kind of girl that can be very lazy when it comes to make up removal and usually grabs a face wipe (I can here you all tutting as I type)! So hopefully this will encourage me to behave! I couldn't resist picking up my soap and glory wipes just in case though!!

Next I thought I'd treat myself to another Real Techniques brush. I already have to core collection kit which I love and use everyday, so I thought I'd treat myself to this shading brush!

I picked up the Got2b hair spray because I really like their happy hour one, however I'm a little disappointed with this new Rise n' Shine spray, I feel it doesn't give as much hold as the other one.

Finally I picked up a few make up bits! I wanted a different coloured blushed I currently mainly use a soap and glory one which is beautiful but I wanted more of a peach colour so thought I'd try this one from Max Factor. I'm not usually a huge fan of creme blushers but thought I'd give it a go as I liked the colour. Baby face is another product I've heard good things about and I have to say it's so soft and lovely to use, my make up just glides on over the top! Then I picked up a few new lippy's because .. well why not? I fancied a nude one and I've lost a coral one I had by Kate Moss which I loved but thought I try one a little different so went for the coral in gold instead.

Have you picked up anything in the 3 for 2?

Getting Organised

Recently I've made a few big purchases these include an iPad Mini and a Mac Book Pro. I had wanted an iPad for a long time and I suddenly caved and decided I needed one in my life! I opted for the mini with retina display and it's brilliant, I love it! I use it every day and it's so useful! I love how I can just pop it in my handbag and take it around with me!
A few months after I bought the iPad I was umming and ahhing about getting a new laptop. I had a rubbish Advent which to be honest had served it's purpose for about 4/5 years now but it was definitely on its way out! I've always loved apple products, despite the rather hefty price tag that goes with them so I decided to take advantage of my student discount and a special 0% finance promotion apple had on and invest in a Mac Book Pro. Im so glad I did, it works so well with my iPad and I find it much nicer to use than a PC. Going from PC to Mac was a little strange at first and it took a while to figure out how to even get the bloody thing running but with a little help from a friend I was finally up and running and able to start exploring. I can already tell it's definitely going to be worth the investment and I'd recommend it to anyone who is undecided about whether to go PC or Mac!!

So with my new gadgets in hand I thought I'd get more organised. I took a trip to TK Maxx and purchased these two beautiful notebooks. I thought I could carry the smaller one around with me so I can write down any ideas that may pop in my head when I'm out and about and the second hardback one will stay at home so I can write down blog post ideas and other note worthy things.

Organisation isn't one of my strong points but hopefully this will help! Plus I love stationary so I'll find any excuse to buy it really :)
